今年的申請(qǐng)季馬上就要開(kāi)始了，很多同學(xué)經(jīng)過(guò)暑期的學(xué)習(xí)，也終于要走進(jìn)GRE考場(chǎng)。這個(gè)月的三場(chǎng)考試都集中在了下半月。這段考前末了的準(zhǔn)備的時(shí)間里，同學(xué)們還需要做什么，注意什么，在這里給大家作一些規(guī)劃和建議。
閱讀在末了的幾天緊張準(zhǔn)備時(shí)間里，首先就不建議再去刷新題了。重點(diǎn)應(yīng)該放在復(fù)習(xí)以往講過(guò)的閱讀文章方法，以及如何梳理文章結(jié)構(gòu)上：考場(chǎng)上除了基本的句義大致需要讀懂之外，還需要對(duì)句間，句內(nèi)的邏輯關(guān)系的判斷（比如什么時(shí)候句間在提示轉(zhuǎn)折，什么時(shí)候是遞進(jìn)順承，再比如在提示是句子內(nèi)部轉(zhuǎn)折等等）需要同學(xué)們好好把握住。所以這段時(shí)間里同學(xué)們可以找出課堂上講過(guò)的文章，來(lái)復(fù)習(xí)一遍文章結(jié)構(gòu)，作者觀(guān)點(diǎn)判斷等。
其次，如果長(zhǎng)難句讀不準(zhǔn)讀不快，可以在這幾天再刷一些長(zhǎng)難句，保證讀長(zhǎng)難句的分析邏輯和效率。
填空單詞：填空部分詞匯是一個(gè)重點(diǎn)，經(jīng)過(guò)一段時(shí)間的努力學(xué)習(xí)，大家應(yīng)該具備了不錯(cuò)的詞匯基礎(chǔ)。這幾天內(nèi)，也不要放松，繼續(xù)堅(jiān)持單詞的背誦。
詞組：重點(diǎn)強(qiáng)調(diào)一下詞組部分。在佛腳詞匯的后幾十頁(yè)，已經(jīng)給大家整理好了題目中常見(jiàn)的詞組，大家務(wù)必把這些詞組里不認(rèn)識(shí)的挑出來(lái)，在這幾天里面抽空看掉，不要有遺漏。
六選二的部分的同近義詞大家可以借著佛腳詞匯里面總結(jié)的的常見(jiàn)同近義詞梳理一遍或者復(fù)習(xí)一下自己之前做題總結(jié)的同近義詞，務(wù)必保證比較生僻的同近義詞如果見(jiàn)過(guò)能認(rèn)出來(lái)，比如capricious和impulsive。這種類(lèi)型題是填空部分的得分重點(diǎn)。
題目部分：在末了的幾天里，就不建議同學(xué)們?nèi)プ鲂骂}了。強(qiáng)烈建議同學(xué)們把以往的錯(cuò)題拿出來(lái)，再回顧下自己容易犯錯(cuò)的地方，避開(kāi)邏輯容易犯錯(cuò)的地方：比如on the contrary這個(gè)短語(yǔ)是否是取反，在何種情況下取反等等。
數(shù)學(xué)基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)：數(shù)學(xué)部分，尤其是對(duì)于申請(qǐng)理工類(lèi)專(zhuān)業(yè)的同學(xué)千萬(wàn)不要掉以輕心。建議同學(xué)們?cè)趦H剩的幾天里把數(shù)學(xué)知識(shí)點(diǎn)和數(shù)學(xué)詞匯再過(guò)一遍，不要發(fā)生考場(chǎng)上有數(shù)學(xué)名詞不認(rèn)識(shí)的情況發(fā)生，也不要發(fā)生知道考什么不知道如何下手的情況發(fā)生：比如正態(tài)分布圖的方差，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)差，常用的三個(gè)置信區(qū)間數(shù)值。
練習(xí)：如果時(shí)間允許，可以每天做兩個(gè)section的練習(xí)題。倘若同學(xué)們手頭邊的數(shù)學(xué)題都做完了，可以回顧之前做過(guò)的題目；練習(xí)題反復(fù)做是沒(méi)問(wèn)題的。以往的很多同學(xué)也反饋考試前多鞏固幾遍做過(guò)的題是很有用的做法。
寫(xiě) 作題目：這里給大家的建議是希望大家能夠利用末了的這幾天把作文題庫(kù)全部瀏覽一遍，至少要保證題干當(dāng)中生詞務(wù)必弄懂，讀懂每道題目的內(nèi)容，保證不要把題干的意思理解錯(cuò)（有的題目主題內(nèi)容是一致的，但是細(xì)節(jié)有不同，注意仔細(xì)讀題，不要誤把題目當(dāng)成是之前寫(xiě)過(guò)或者看過(guò)的另一道題），比如ARGUMENT題庫(kù)當(dāng)中的NO.3和*66，都是寫(xiě)“禁止skateboarding，預(yù)計(jì)未來(lái)商業(yè)收益會(huì)好轉(zhuǎn)”，但是文章細(xì)節(jié)，作者論證思路很多處都是不同的，不能完全等同來(lái)看待。
"Over the past two years, the number of shoppers in Central Plazahas been steadily decreasing while the popularity of skateboarding hasincreased dramatically. Many Central Plaza store owners believe that thedecrease in their business is due to the number of skateboard users in theplaza. There has also been a dramatic increase in the amount of litter andvandalism throughout the plaza. Thus, we recommend that the city prohibitskateboarding in Central Plaza. If skateboarding is prohibited here, we predictthat business in Central Plaza will return to its previously high levels."
Write a response in which you discuss what questions would need to beanswered in order to decide whether the recommendation is likely to have thepredicted result. Be sure to explain how the answers to these questions wouldhelp to evaluate the recommendation.
166. The following appeared as a letter to the editor from the owner ofa skate shop in Central Plaza.
"Two years ago the city council voted to prohibit skateboarding inCentral Plaza. They claimed that skateboard users were responsible for litterand vandalism that were keeping other visitors from coming to the plaza. In thepast two years, however, there has been only a small increase in the number ofvisitors to Central Plaza, and litter and vandalism are still problematic.Skateboarding is permitted in Monroe Park, however, and there is no problemwith litter or vandalism there. In order to restore Central Plaza to its formerglory, then, we recommend that the city lift its prohibition on skateboardingin the plaza."
Write a response in which you discuss what questions would need to beanswered in order to decide whether the recommendation and the argument onwhich it is based are reasonable. Be sure to explain how the answers to thesequestions would help to evaluate the recommendation.
