CCIE (運(yùn)營商方向） 運(yùn)營商CCIE認(rèn)證意味著從業(yè)人士對(duì)IP原理及核心技術(shù)擁有權(quán)威級(jí)知識(shí)體系。整個(gè)知識(shí)體系有遠(yuǎn)程接入方向， 比如撥號(hào)、DSL、有線網(wǎng)絡(luò)；傳輸方向，比如光通信、SDH、SONET；廣域網(wǎng)絡(luò)交換，比如:ATM、VoIP、 內(nèi)容網(wǎng)絡(luò)及城域以太網(wǎng)。參加此項(xiàng)認(rèn)證的考生必須對(duì)官方考試大綱有深入理解。

認(rèn)證所需 CCIE ISP考試無需其它證書做為前提，任何有意了解互聯(lián)網(wǎng)架構(gòu)的個(gè)人都可以參加 CCIE ISP認(rèn)證考試 ..

CCIE ISP認(rèn)證考試分為以兩個(gè)組成部分:
1. CCIE ISP 筆試（），2小時(shí)考試時(shí)間
2. CCIE ISP Lab 考試，8小時(shí)的實(shí)驗(yàn)考試時(shí)間

任何方向的CCIE有有效期為2年，屆時(shí)參加任何一方向的CCIE筆試便可以激活！ 其中筆試稱為ualification Exam,即資格考試，意味著必須先通過筆試部分的考試才能參加第2部分的Lab考試。筆試部分思科是委托國際電子考試中心VUE統(tǒng)一考試，目前*大多數(shù)都有VUE考場，所以基本可以本地預(yù)約完成考試。而實(shí)驗(yàn)部分，目前思科在全球有13個(gè)考場。*在北京和香港的思科分部都有CCIE Lab考場。
